Is there Asbestos in YOUR house?

Due to significant levels of Asbestos still present in residential properties, it is still a concern across the UK.
As recent Statistics show an increase in Asbestos related deaths.

Although the risks from Asbestos fibers are likely to be higher in Residential buildings constructed till 1985 due to the building materials used at this time. Nevertheless, Asbestos was not banned in the UK until 1999. As such if your house was built or renovated before the year 2000, it might still contain Asbestos materials.

Asbestos was used in a variety of construction materials up to the end of 1999.
