ASBESTOS SURVEYING IN CARLISLE AND CUMBRIA

PROJECT OVERVIEW

On this Asbestos Refurbishment Survey project Asbestos Audit Ltd were tasked with fully and intrusively inspecting the commercial premises. The building is due to be fully refurbished and updated to provide new office accommodation and a new mezzanine floor between the existing floor structures.

The proposed works incorporate the new and old structures and involve the management of the existing asbestos items to ensure the highest levels of safety coupled with the identification of materials likely to be disturbed by the works requiring removal.

While inspecting the property Asbestos Audits surveyors located a number of potentially high risk items. The materials were sampled and recorded alongside accurate photos and plans being drawn up to include the full extent of the materials.

Following the asbestos survey of the property the lead surveyor went through the findings with the site manager prior to leaving the property. This allowed for planning to begin with regards to asbestos removal works taking place and a quick turnaround to meet the clients requirements.
