Hospital Surveys For The NHS
The Asbestos Audit Ltd teams have been kept very busy over the past months during the Covid crisis. We have been assisting a number of NHS boroughs throughout the period of change with our usual services alongside some exciting new offerings.
Alongside our annual management of asbestos and standard project survey works we have been assisting with multiple ward and structural alterations to various hospitals. These alterations include A&E departments, Operating Theatres, Ward Areas and public communal areas. The overall aim of the projects is to reduce the risk from Covid-19 to both patients and visitors alongside those working in the hospitals.
Our survey teams reviewed the existing data and then formed a survey plan in partnership with the NHS estates departments. Over a 4 month period a large number of surveys were completed allowing main contractors to undertake the ongoing works safely and without the risks from asbestos. Now that these projects are coming to an end the hospitals involved are both safer and future protected against the virus.
